GTA 6 Remains on Course for Fall 2025 Release
Take-Two Reassures Fans: GTA 6 Still Coming This Fall

Ahead of its earnings release, Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar Games' parent company, told IGN that Grand Theft Auto 6 is still scheduled for a fall 2025 launch. This confirmation came during the company's recent financial report, where GTA 6 was listed for release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
While acknowledging the inherent risks of development delays, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick expressed confidence in Rockstar's ability to meet the target release date. "Look, there's always a risk of slippage," Zelnick stated. "We feel really good about it."
The anticipation surrounding GTA 6 has reached a fever pitch, not only among fans but also within the gaming industry itself. This intense interest has even influenced the release strategies of competitors. Earlier this week, EA CEO Andrew Wilson hinted at potential delays for the upcoming Battlefield game, acknowledging the significant impact that GTA 6's release timing could have on the market.
