Is the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition Worth It?

The Ultimate Edition costs $99.99 — $20 more than Standard. The meaningful difference is five exclusive shops that Standard Edition players cannot access at all: Rideout Customs (vehicle mods), One-Eyes Willies (off-road mods), Sara's Unisex Salon (50+ hairstyles), Stock 305 (clothing), and Electric Fang Tattoo (50+ tattoos by the FAILE collective). These are locked to the edition permanently.

On top of that: five extra vehicles ('95 Grotti Cheetah, '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy with a Paradise Garage, Dinka Enduro, Shitzu Squalo with a weapons crate, Crest Kayak), Hawk & Little Morgan Revolvers plus personalized sidearms, Goodtime Gear and Vice City Style apparel, access to the PTT YOUNGIN$ compound raid, and a classic car commission from Wyman.

All Ultimate content threads through the chapters — it is not a lump drop at the start. Digital only. No physical version exists.

Can I upgrade from Standard to Ultimate later?Unconfirmed
No upgrade path has been announced. Rockstar has not confirmed whether Standard Edition owners can purchase an upgrade to access the Ultimate content after launch. No price or mechanism for this has been communicated.
