Who We Are

GTAVITIPS (gtavitips.com) is a GTA 6 intelligence database. This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What Data We Collect

We collect data in two ways:

  • Analytics data via Google Analytics 4 (GA4). This includes pages visited, time on site, browser type, device type, approximate location (country and city level), and how you arrived at the site. This data is collected via cookies and sent to Google's servers.
  • Data you provide directly. If you contact us via email, we store the contents of that communication to respond to your inquiry. We do not retain this data beyond what is necessary to handle your request.

We do not collect names, payment information, or any other personally identifiable information beyond what Google Analytics captures automatically.

Why We Collect It

The analytics data we collect serves one purpose: understanding how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We look at which pages perform well, where visitors come from, and what content is most useful. We do not use this data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Under the GDPR, we process analytics data on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)). We have assessed that our interest in understanding site usage is not overridden by the privacy interests of our visitors, given the non-sensitive nature of the data collected and the analytics-only purpose.

If you contact us by email, processing is based on contractual necessity or consent depending on the nature of your inquiry.

Google Analytics

GA4 is operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data collected via GA4 may be transferred to Google's servers in the United States. Google participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which provides an adequate level of protection under GDPR.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Data Retention

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. Email correspondence is retained only as long as necessary to resolve the inquiry, typically no longer than 12 months.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl
