Dossier
Snooker occupies the dedicated cue sport category in Vice City, distinct from the bar pool table covered in the Games activity. The snooker table is full-size, the venue is built for the sport, and the mechanic reflects the additional complexity of the longer table and the larger ball set.
Vice City has the population density and the leisure culture to support dedicated snooker venues. The activity connects to the cue sport community that GTA's vice cities have always had: back-room venues, regular players who treat the game as a serious pursuit, and the betting infrastructure that follows wherever skilled players gather.
The snooker mechanic manages cue ball control with more precision than pool. Spin, pace, and positional play after each shot are the distinguishing skill elements. Break building requires controlling where the cue ball goes as much as which red it pots. The mechanic has more depth than casual pool and rewards consistent play.
The social function of the venue is the same as any dedicated sport location in GTA: the people who play here regularly have conversations, and the protagonist playing snooker regularly becomes part of the social fabric of the venue.
