Field Assessment

The revolver does not try to hide what it is. It is heavy, it is loud, and each trigger pull is a deliberate decision. There is no burst fire. There is no suppressor thread. There is no way to make it quiet. If quiet is required, a different weapon is required.

Six rounds in the cylinder. Reload is slower than any semi-automatic. At close range that difference rarely matters because six well-placed large-calibre rounds end most situations before a reload becomes relevant.

In Vice County it operates as a status object as much as a weapon. The operators who carry it are communicating something about how they approach confrontations. Usually that communication is received clearly by whoever is on the other end of the barrel.
