Field Assessment
The Police Buffalo STX is the performance variant of the standard Police Buffalo. The SRT specification adds the engine output and chassis calibration that the pursuit of Vice City's faster vehicles requires. Where the standard Police Buffalo handles standard patrol and most pursuits, the STX is the interceptor for the vehicles that outrun it.
The STX appears in the wanted level escalation at the tier where the standard patrol cars have not closed the situation. It represents the VCPD's performance pursuit capability before the SWAT and NOOSE resources are committed.
Mechanically the most capable standard police car in the Vice City wanted level system. The performance specification narrows the gap between the law enforcement and the protagonist's performance vehicles.
