Does GTA 6 Have a Gym and Fitness System?

Yes. Jason and Lucia's bodies respond to how they live. Food changes their weight, training builds and tones muscle, and a run of bad nights shows on their faces. It is the San Andreas idea back after two games without it, with sleep added.

Rob Nelson, co-studio head at Rockstar North, told IGN that gyms let you build strength and that overeating makes your character gain weight. Rockstar has not published a full feature list, so the exact rules below are open.

Does sleep matter? Reported
Yes. Dazed reports that skipped sleep, long police chases and multi-day benders leave marks on a character's face. Outlets have described the effect as a Dorian Gray portrait in motion. Rockstar has not said whether sleep changes any stat.

What do weightlifting and cardio actually do? Unconfirmed
Guides say weightlifting adds muscle and melee power, and cardio adds stamina. None of that comes from a Rockstar statement. Rockstar has shown the activities, not the numbers. Our entries cover what is on screen: Weightlifting, Cardio and Combat Training.

Do you need a gym membership? Unconfirmed
A membership desk, protein shakes from vending machines and a daily three-exercise routine are circulating. They trace back to a fan account on X and to guide sites. Rockstar has not described how gyms are accessed or paid for.

What has Rockstar not said? Unconfirmed
How fast bodies change, how fast muscle fades, what the stat effects are, and whether the timed rep minigames from San Andreas return. Whether training is optional is also open.
