The Schafter V12 is the performance variant. To the Vice City street it looks like a standard Schafter: executive proportions, conservative colour, the same profile as the car the hotel uses for airport transfers. The V12 under the bonnet is not visible from the pavement.
The performance is relevant when the executive in the back seat makes a different kind of decision, or when the driver in the front seat makes one. The Schafter V12 handles the Vice City pursuit scenario in a way the standard Schafter does not.
In the Leonida vehicle hierarchy the V12 is the performance executive option: fast enough to compete with dedicated performance cars, comfortable enough to be the vehicle of choice for someone who needs both.
