The Brute Camper is the motorhome. In Leonida, where the distance between Vice City and the Keys or the interior is navigable in hours, the motorhome fills the specific role of mobile accommodation that Vice County provides the space for.
The real Florida RV culture is significant. The state has a permanent RV population and a seasonal population that swells during the winter. Leonida has the same infrastructure: RV parks, the Keys campgrounds, and the rural Vice County locations that tolerate an overnight stay.
The Camper is also the vehicle that Vice City's less visible operations use as a mobile base: parks for longer than expected in a location without generating immediate suspicion.
