The Rebel is the Karin off-road vehicle. The FJ Cruiser profile: boxy, distinctive, and built entirely for what it does away from the road. In Vice City the Rebel is unusual. In Vice County it is the correct vehicle for the territory.
The Florida interior terrain that the Grassrivers and the rural Vice County roads represent is the Rebel's natural environment. High clearance, four-wheel drive, and the suspension articulation that loose surface driving requires.
The Rebel is the vehicle that connects the Vice City road network to the Vice County terrain that roads do not service. Trail access, agricultural land margins, and the areas where the road transitions to track are all Rebel territory.
