Field Assessment
The Comet 2 is the water-cooled transition generation of the Pfister Comet. The air-cooled era ended and the Comet 2 is what came next: similar profile, updated mechanicals, and the handling character of a 911 that has been refined rather than redesigned.
In Leonida's vehicle landscape, having multiple Comet variants means the choice the specific expression of the Pfister rear-engine philosophy. The Retro Custom is the heritage piece. The S2 is the current-generation sports car. The Comet 2 sits in the middle: accessible to a larger budget, still a Pfister, still rear-engine.
The performance is honest. Not the fastest car available but faster than most of what it encounters in Vice City traffic, and with handling that rewards the driver who understands what a rear-engine layout does at the limit.
