Field Assessment
The Comet S2 is the current-generation expression of everything Pfister believes about sports cars. Naturally aspirated, rear-wheel drive, and with the suspension setup of a vehicle that would prefer to be on a track but is prepared to tolerate the road. The fixed rear wing is not optional on the S2. It is there because the aerodynamics require it.
In Vice City the Comet S2 is the car of the person who drives rather than poses. It does not have the visual presence of the Italian exotics. The people who recognize what they are looking at recognize it immediately. The people who do not recognize it step out of the way anyway because the exhaust note at high revs communicates the relevant information.
The naturally aspirated engine requires revving to generate its peak performance. This characteristic makes the Comet S2 one of the more demanding cars in the Leonida performance roster: the power is there at the top of the range and the driver who reaches it consistently is rewarded proportionally.
