Field Assessment
The Seashark is the jet ski. On the Vice City beachfront it is the rental activity, the visible leisure economy, and the vehicle that the tourist uses for twenty minutes before returning it and going for a drink. In the Keys it is the day-trip vehicle: loaded on the boat trailer, transported to the launch, and run until the fuel runs out.
The personal watercraft requires no dock and no slip. Beach launch and beach recovery. The entire Vice City coastline is accessible waterfront. The Seashark launches from any beach and returns to any beach.
The handling is the jet ski character: responsive to body weight, capable of sharp turns, and lacking the predictability of a keeled hull in larger water. In the protected Keys channels it is ideal. In the Atlantic chop beyond the Keys reef it is demanding.
