Field Assessment
The Stanier is the Crown Victoria. The classic law enforcement platform that defined the American police car for thirty years. In present-day Leonida it is still on the road: the agencies that have not fully modernized their fleet, the jurisdictions where the Crown Victoria's durability kept it in service past its replacement date, and the specific aesthetic that certain Vice City areas require.
The Stanier has been on Vice City streets since before most of the current precincts were built. Its continued presence in Leonida acknowledges both the vehicle's longevity and the specific nostalgia the recognizable police car carries. In Leonida the Stanier appears alongside the Bravado and Vapid pursuit vehicles in the agencies where the classic platform is still operational.
The rear-wheel drive V8 configuration gives the Stanier the handling character of the classic police car: stable, capable in a straight line, and predictable at the limit.
