Field Assessment
The Scout Police is the compact police SUV. Smaller than the Explorer and the Tahoe in the police fleet, and more maneuverable in the Vice City grid and the beach access routes where the larger vehicles have clearance limitations.
The Vice Beach Police application is the most visible use: the compact SUV navigating the tourist corridor and beach access points where the standard patrol car and the full-size SUV are less practical. The Scout Police is the vehicle that fits where the others do not.
The AWD configuration gives it the capability the compact size would otherwise limit. On the beach margins and the Vice County suburban roads, the Scout Police handles the conditions adequately.
