Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI open at midnight on June 25, local time wherever you are. Two editions: Standard at $79.99 and Ultimate at $99.99. Both come with the same pre-order bonus. The split starts after that.
All edition contents and pricing below are confirmed by Rockstar Games. No speculation. No retail leaks. This is the official announcement.
The Pre-Order Bonus
Buy either edition before launch and you get the Vintage Vice City Pack. It lands with both Jason and Lucia dressed for the era: Jason gets a linen suit in vintage pastel and an 80s haircut, Lucia gets a red sequin mini dress and curls. The weapon pattern is tropical, a direct nod to Tommy Vercetti's palm tree button-up.
The vehicle in the pack is the '55 Vapid Stanier. It drops in Shore Court personal garage, with a weapon locker and stolen goods storage included. Digital pre-orders also get a free month of GTA+. Physical buyers get the pack, not the subscription.
Standard Edition — $79.99
Physical and digital. The physical box ships with a download code — no disc. The pre-order bonus is the Vintage Vice City Pack. That is the full Standard Edition offer.
Ultimate Edition — $99.99
Digital only. Twenty dollars more than Standard. Includes everything in the Standard Edition, and then the following on top.
Vehicles
Five vehicles on arrival. The '95 Grotti Cheetah is a sports car. The '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy comes with its own Paradise Garage. The Dinka Enduro is a motorcycle. The Shitzu Squalo is a watercraft with a weapons crate attached. And the Crest Kayak for anything the others can't reach.
Exclusive Shops
Standard Edition players do not get access to these. Rideout Customs handles standard vehicle builds. One-Eyes Willies covers off-road modifications. Sara's Unisex Salon runs 50+ signature hairstyles. Stock 305 is a clothing store. Electric Fang Tattoo carries 50+ designs put together by FAILE, a Brooklyn street art collective with work in major museum collections.
Weapons
The Hawk and Little Morgan Revolvers, styled for Vice City. Both Jason and Lucia also receive personalized variants of their sidearms. Three weapons total across two characters.
Apparel
Two collections beyond the Vintage Vice City Pack: Goodtime Gear built around Macca the Gator, and Vice City Style outfits.
Activities
A raid on the PTT YOUNGIN$ gang compound. A classic car commission from an in-game character named Wyman. Both are woven into the game world, not separate modes.
The Ultimate Edition content does not arrive all at once. Rockstar confirmed it threads through the chapters — new items unlock as the story progresses. You are not buying a cosmetics dump at the start. You are buying persistent access to locations and content across the full playthrough. The shops are the real differentiator. Rideout Customs and One-Eyes Willies for ongoing vehicle builds. Sara's Salon for character customization throughout the game. The $20 price gap is real. The access gap is wider than that.
Physical Edition
Standard Edition only in physical form. No disc in the box, just a download code. Physical copies go on sale November 12, one week before the November 19 launch. That week exists so physical buyers can preload and be ready at midnight alongside everyone else. The file size will be large.
No physical collector's edition has been announced.
Payment Timing by Platform
PlayStation charges the moment you pre-order. Xbox charges up to 10 days before launch. Amazon charges at shipment, just before the game ships. Other retailers charge when the order is placed. Physical pre-orders hold your money later than digital on most platforms.
The collector's edition leak from late 2025 described retail database entries that never became an official product. This announcement does not include a physical collector's bundle. The November 19 release date remains unchanged.
