Behavior and Threat Profile

The brown anole is the most common lizard in Florida and the dominant ground-level lizard in urban and suburban areas. They are on every surface. They push up in their territorial display. They run from shadows on instinct.

In Leonida they are the background texture of every wall and every warm exterior. Vice City hotel facades, Grassrivers dock planks, rural motel walls in Yorktown. Every warm outdoor surface in the game has a lizard on it somewhere.

They do not interact with the player in any meaningful way. They flee. They freeze. They run into cracks. Their function in the game world is to make every exterior environment feel authentically Floridian.
