Andres de Leon is the face of the opening. MegaMundo is putting its first American corporate headquarters up in Vice City, and Andres is the one standing in front of the crowd for it. He's wired for the occasion: fast-talking, coke-fueled, describing his own mind as running in overdrive with more ideas than it can hold.
That energy is exactly why he needs handling. Petra Navarro, MegaMundo's CEO, brings in Jason and Lucia as security for the event with an explicit instruction: protect him, and keep him in line. The second half of that instruction says as much about Andres as the first.
The opening speech is where it goes public. Andres thanks the crowd for joining the celebration of MegaMundo's first corporate headquarters on American soil, riding the same high-energy delivery the whole event runs on.
It doesn't stay a celebration. The speech is the moment a coordinated, armed assault on the building begins. Whatever Andres's headquarters opening was supposed to be, it becomes the reason Jason and Lucia are fighting their way through the building floor by floor before the night is over.
